Vasi Iron Man
The Vasi Iron Man, the amateur triathlon race with the longest history, was launched in 1985 and has enjoyed unbroken popularity ever since. The event attracts more and more athletes every year, with many returning triathletes. It is usually held in early July.

Critical Mass Szombathely
Critical Mass (CM for short) is the name of a widespread urban cycling parade that takes place on the last Friday of every month in nearly 300 cities around the world.The first such parade was held in San Francisco in 1992, with the aim of showing how unfriendly cities are to cyclists. In fact, Critical Mass is not a direct action, but rather an urban bike ride, where cyclists gather at a designated meeting point and ride together from one part of the city to another. In Hungary, two major rallies are held in April on Earth Day and in September on European Car Free Day.
The bicycle movement is also active in Szombathely. Twice a year Szombathely is marching! And in the meantime we just ride our bikes - they write on their blog and on their Facebook page

It is a professional BMX track of national level, built in 1993, now maintained mostly by the local government and parents, and has also hosted a national championship.

The CityCross Kőszeg downtown mountain bike race will be held on 18 September 2022.
The City Cross downtown mountain bike race is held in a historic setting. The 1.5-kilometre course is unique in that it includes not only the city centre but also the Jurisic Castle, with riders riding on the castle walls and in the castle courtyard.
