Cycling rest stops
Lake Abért
The rest area was built between Lukácsháza and Kőszeg, at the Abért lake (the flood protection reservoir of the Gyöngyös stream) in the framework of the Veloregio project. A map, storage facilities, tables and benches await cycling tourists who can walk around the two lakes.
Kőszeg
In Kőszeg, along the Szabóhegyi road (which leads towards the mountains and Cák), you will find another Veloregio project cycling rest area at the so-called carbonic acid well. It is similarly equipped with benches, tables and a bicycle rack.
Line shelves
In Sorokpolány, in the direction of Szombathely, turn right in the street next to the machine shop (Vasvár on the left) and after a gravel and pebbly road you will find the bicycle rest area, which consists of storage and tables and benches. The rest area was built in the garden of a previous cycling project.
Cák
In Cák, in Petőfi Street, there is a small rest and camping area with bathrooms and a small kitchen. The stop is located in the courtyard of the Community Centre, open from 1 April to 31 October.
